Anyone have a great recommendation on a set of these? The Bose seem a bit expensive and I’ve read some good reviews of the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoints (the price is right for these too).

Panasonic RP-HC500. They’re just as good as the Bose and I paid about $100 at J&R.

The family (bless them) gave me a pair of the Audio-Technicas for my birthday. Very pleased with them and, I believe, the price is around $125.

I have a pair of the ATH-ANC7s and am really happy with them. I also have AKG K701s, which aren’t noise canceling but are great too. I tend to use AT’s the most because they’re lighter and and don’t need a headphone amp to use with an iPod.

The ATH’s have received rave reviews from columnist David Pogue and radio show host and podcaster Leo Laporte.
