I still lean to CDs. You have it as a backup, there is no DRM, and you can rip it to any quality you want. |

It all depends on the situation. My go-to format is CD but there have been times when I’ve tried to get a CD of a specific recording only to find out it is “no longer available”. I’ve checked emusic and found it there… |

I’m big on downloads, but nothing compares to wandering into a Used CD store and browsing through their collection. |

I Download All my Jazz from P2P Platforms such as ARES and K Lite. I now have over 4000 Jazz Music Files accumulated over the last 3 months for just the cost of a yearly Membership fee of $20 . Every Artist Fron Ahmad Jamal to Zoot Sims . Buy CD’s ? No way , it would take a Lifetime just to track them ALL down….....;) |
