I’ve been involved with bringing jazz and improvised music to the radio for twenty years. I currently co-host, on a rotation basis, a weekly show called “Now’s The Time” with four other people. We call ourselves the “Improvised Music Collective”. We play the music we love – music created throughout the entire twentieth century and now well into the twenty-first. We take pride in our commitment to context.
I have been a collector, listener and fan of jazz/improvised music for more than twetny-five years. I’ve broadcast, lectured and written about the music over the past fifteen years.
