Topic: The Dozens / THE DOZENS: THE BEATLES Great topic! It inspired me to write about a Beatles cover myself: http://www.jazz.com/music/2008/12/23/josh-roseman-i-should-have-known-better I’ll have to check out Lonnie Smith’s version of Eleanor Rigby. The Jazz Crusaders did a smokin’ live rendition of it the prior year, but Smith’s personnel line-up leads me to believe that his is better still. SVA |
