| Description: | Ron Brendle has been a freelance bassist in Charlotte since 1981. He graduated from ASU and studied bass with Charlie Haden at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna, Florida. He has performed and recorded with many notable jazz artists including Frank Kimbrough, Nneena Freelon, Clark Terry, Andrew Hill, Charlie Byrd, Charlie Rouse, and Mose Allison.
